Well with not many shows to chose from this weekend we decide to go to Marchington mainly for the older horses. Although we did put Avola and Balia on board to back up their schooling we did on the Thursday evening at Prescott. Avola and Balia both jumped the 1.05 and the Newcomers for a fence. Then Zatina had her first run around a 1.15 she jumped clear but had a stop in the jump off when we turned back to an upright and just didnt have any sort stride to jump off. Lord Castell and Applebee also jumped the 1.15 both went double clear and were placed 3rd and 4th so they are back on track after their break and now ready to jump Foxhunter. Then we jumped Ulrich, Domino and Ursula in the Fox/1.20. Ulrich had an unlucky rail in the first round and the mares both went clear but neither were lucky in the jump off. So all in all they had a good day and have been set up to compete at this show next week when there will be a Fox, B and C and 1.30 which is good as the older horses could do with a few more rounds.
