Another show!

Well after an excellent day at Rodbaston we ventured out to Southview Equestrian Centre on the Sunday. Carl had another good day Zipina T jumped her 2nd Newcomers and achieved a 5th place which was very good with nearly 60 in the class!! Then he jumped Domino in the 1.20 and was placed 2nd again there was another large entry. On his last horse Ursula he jumped clear in the 1.25 and then faulted in the jump off.
For me it was a day when the fences got in the way!!!! The horses jumped well and a good training day Zatina had a fence in the Newcomers, Applebee and Avalon had a fence in the Foxhunter, Lord Castell jumped clear in the Foxhunter and then after several brilliant turns in the jump off we were a little too keen to turn back on the penultimate and rolled it off behind. Then Ulrich jumped clear in the 1.25 only to stop on a turn back-he lost his concentration and was looking at the wrong fence and when he realised it was too late the fence was under his nose!!!
