Well yesterday was Southview's first outdoor show and we took 4 for the Newcomers - Zatina had a fence in the first round her change of bridle was ok but I didnt have quite enough control, Avola and Anouk both jumped clear and had a fence in the jump off, then Breaker jumped a smashing double clear and gained a 7th place. We took 2 horses for the Fox/1.20 - Avolon who jumped a double clear also for a 7th placing and Domino who was having a class in the hackamore. she works really well in it at home and Carl thought he'd try her in the ring with it. The mare was not at all impressed and poor Carl did not have a nice time!! So the horses for the 1.25 were Ursula who jumped clear and then faulted in the jump off, Ulrich who was great and jumped clear and only had a fence in the jump off due to his over-keen jockey(ooops) then last of ours in the class was Domino who we thought better have a class back in her other bridle-she was still a little argumentative but resigned herself to the fact that she had to get on with her job and did a great double clear and won the class!!!
