Well last night at 10.30 Lucy Lancer had her foal only 18 days overdue!!! A chesnut colt by Wizzerd. So with that job over and done we all had a good nights sleep in preparation for today at Southview. Not the best of days for us-it started badly when after loading Zanzibar for his first show in 6 months, I realised his registration had run out and as its Good Friday the BS offices were closed and you cannot jump a stallion on a ticket or renew their registration on line!! So of he came and we put a four year old on for a trot around the British Novice. When we arrived at the show our plans soon changed it was extremely busy so after jumping 3 around the Newcomers we decided to put the 1.25 into the Fox/Grade C as it looked to be a very long day otherwise. Ulrich had a plcing and a double clear which was good but Ursula was spooky so Mark decided that as we were nearly at the end of the class she could go in the 1.25 early but then as usual these plans change and our early start back home faded, we also jumped Avalon in the 1.25 he had an unlucky fence in the jump off> Then a lady had noticed Domino earlier and thought she would like to see more so after they had a ride on her we jumped her around the 1.25 but by the time we put her number on the board it was full. So here we are back at home and just walked in through the door!!!!
