A productive day at Southview.

Well Saturday at Southview turned out to be productive and thankfully not too long!!! We decided to only take horses for two classes as last time at this show there were so many entries that the classes went on for ever. So we took five for the Newcomers and out of these Avola managed a double clear and 7th placing the others all managed 4 faults but jumped well I had my first class on Anouk thats if you dont count her very first show last summer when I took her around the British Novice!! The improvement in her is vast-she proved a lovely ride in the ring and the four faults were more me than her!! Carl took Balia and Zipina around for 4 faults but both horses are improving with each show its just ring craft which they lack at times.
But the best class of the day was the Foxhunter Anouk and Carl jumped round for 4 faults-and she jumped the water without hesitation so that was good. Then Zanzibar, Lord Castell and Applebee all jumped double clears - Alfie(LC) even managed to pick up a low placing and all jumped the water fine even Zanzibar who seemed keen to be allowed to get going again.
There's more foals queing up to arrive but at the moment they like to keep us guessing so for now its back to the sofa and foal watch!!
