Not lots to report two outings to shows with no reults but the horses jumped well just the fences got in the way!!! Avola was the only unlucky one her bridle broke whilst jumping a Blue Chip Fox qualifier she jumps in a combination bridle and the nose band broke so although I still had a bit I did lose some control and hence they gave me four faults for having a little detour - shame as she jumped super.
This week we brought the 30 brood mares down from the hill and put them into their barn- they were glad to come down as the grass has all but gone. One or two calls and they quite happily followed the quad for probably a mile - down off the hill, across the lane and up the drive into the sheds!! That only leaves 12 mares out - 8 of which will come home tomorrow they have been a couple of miles away. So not long and there will be a full house at Castell!!!!
