A Few Good ShowsAnd some sunshine!!

Well the horses have been going well and we've had several trips out - Solihull premier was a good show for Avola she qualified the Blue Chip Karma out of a class of 70 and also Cordino M had his first big occasion and produced a very mature double clear in the Newcomers, whilst Ulrich took a step down(as he's already qualified the Karma) and went along as diesal horse and picked up a 3rd in the 1.15 speed-reliable as ever!!! This show was the Friday so on the Sunday we took advantage of the entry deals at Kingswood(they were busy salting their drive as we arrived due to a rather heavy snow flurry)and took 6 youngsters for a trip out-considering it has been awhile since their last trip they all behaved very well. The following week we then escaped to Arena UK for 2 days and tried out the new sleeper cab for an overnight stay. The horses jumped well and again we stepped Avola and Lord Castell up to 1.30 and although they had a couple of fences the experience was good and thier rounds were pleasing just short of classes at this height. Lord Castell managed to split Joe Claytons 2 placings in the Foxhunter- Paul Barker won with Joe 2nd and 4th and "Alf" snook into 3rd with a deceptively slick clear. We came home on the Friday evening then took 7 to Solihull on the Sunday-2 young stallions for thier first trip they went to jump around the outside arena and both behaved very well. Lambus and Balia both jumped double clears in the 1.05 which was a step up for Lambus and it was Balia's first show after his winter holiday. Cordino and Anouk both jumped clear in the Newcomers but both faulted in the jump off-it was a Blue Chip qualifier but fortunatly Anouk has already qualified.
Since then we have been enjoying a few days sunshine in Wales-long may it continue!!!! :))
